Best 10 min Stretch to Slim Your Calves! ◆ Emi ◆


Hi guys, welcome back to my channel So a lot of you have been requesting a video Targeting the cast to actually pose a how system your calf video a few months ago with more details for example how to burn the fat layer on top When are the exercises you should have boy and one of the key things that I mentioned you can do is actually Stretching that target specifically the past which will help elongate the tight muscles our cuff muscles actually get tight Bulky and bigger just from a daily life sitting for too long Wearing heels or the wrong shoes too many stairs and running sort of next time in is we really focus on stretching out the calf That will help with slimming them down and you can definitely do this on a daily basis if you’re ready. Let’s go First I want you to set your intention for the next ten minutes Why are you here with me what you want to achieve for your body today? And to quiet your mind? Whatever happened today at work in school with your friends and family Let the thoughts go so you can really focus on each stretch. First one is standing calf stretch Step your right leg front and your left leg back front leg bend it and back leg straight Place your hands on the thighs of your front leg and sit your weight down at the same time Try to have both feet flat on the floor You should be feeling a stretch in the calf of your left leg if you want to feel more stretch Take a bigger step apart between two legs and sit lower to have your left heel Press onto the floor continue to stretch and lengthen your left calf muscles here for 45 seconds From where Good work next one would switch inside to stretch our right calf was the same movement so left leg front, right leg back Exercise Focus on really putting your weight down and stretching the muscles that got big and bulky to see the horizontal far Excuse us for two for a penny But they’ve all gone out His car and one Oh, there’s all right Set stretch we’re getting on to the floor for downward-facing dog Exercise Hands on the floor shoulder-width apart feet hip-width apart, press your hands into the floor But lift it up in the air to form an upside-down V Here take your time move your hands move your feet through the stretch in the calf as you bend one leg and extend the other leg straight while pressing the heel into the floor Then switch leg keep moving your legs freely and pushing your arms into the floor to put more weight on the legs and get more Stretch in the calves in these 45 seconds you set time to relax because the next one is slightly tougher Alright shake out your arms and your legs if you need forth a single lick Down Dog where we’ll get back to down dog position But this time we’re holding it with right leg extended completely straight and heel on the floor Left leg bent and place on top of right leg so that is completely lift off the floor and we’re putting most of our weight on the right leg for the Maximum stretch in the calf press and push your hands into the floor for more stretch I know your arms are getting tired, but hold it there Remember your intention? Remember your goal. We’re not coming down Versus all good ideas Yes Recip it Especially your arms because next one is the same post but stretching the left half instead so left leg on the floor and right leg stacked on top Exercise Again, try to push your body weight onto your left leg for the maximum stretch And it will also be less tiring for your arms Hold your core tight engage your app so that it will also take away some of the weight from your arms Continue to focus on the stretch and your left leg.   2. I have chunky calves but slim thighs and it doesn’t look right, but the calves are muscle not fat, will the workout get rid of muscle it make it worse?

THIS HELPED ME. late comment but this not only made me see a slight change for the first few times, my flexibility has gone farther that i ever thought it would… especially w that one where your one leg is straight and one bent BEHIND the other and your hands on the floor. flexibility is so important to me so this made me feel great. ty emi! i can assure u guys that this helps w flexibility and since my legs are super skinny, (just my calves i dont like) i cannot tell u it can 100% help but i saw a gooood amount change. yay! ALSO.. i only did that one thing for a few days bc i dont like watching these videos (it stresses me out idk) yet i can see results! crazy dude

    day two: i did this once and i pushed myself only a tiny bit more than last time to get a bigger stretch in 💓

  6. This really works! It helped me when I didn't exercise my calfs and even after I did! I saw a better result after exercising them tho. They're more.. composed! Ahah
    I just did exercises for calfs or I went running! A slow run will really target your calfs! I gained a lot ot muscle in just 2 days and then stretched my calfs and they look awesome!

  12. This excerise really did work! I have been doing this around for 2 weeks now and im able to notice a difference! Though stretching doesnt necessarily slim your claves, it makes ur legs seem leaner.

    day 1: obviously haven’t seen any differences 🙂 but it hurts!!
    day 2: again, it hurtss, but Emi is such a good motivator and she really helps me push to the end

    day 4: they feel less jiggly and more firm! it’s a small change but it’s noticeable .

    day 6: done, oh and ive started running on the treadmill !

    Sooo it’s been ~2 weeks, and I’ve definitely seen a difference. But I’ve stopped following these stretches, and instead have been running on the treadmill! 🙂 best of luck to those who do this stretch!!

  16. I have to ask does this workout burn the fat in the calves or makes muscles slimmer bcs i wanna burn the fat in my calves that way my musles show off not make thim more jiggly then they already are

  17. To those who are wondering if this works. It actually does! I’ve only been doing it for 4 days and I can see a difference, my jeans that were a bit tight now fit me better.
    My before measurements of my calves were R: 36cm L:36.5cm. Now it’s R: 35.4cm L:35. A small difference, but I’ve only done it for 4 days.

    Questions you’re probably asking. No you do not gain bulky muscle from this, and no from this exercise your calves won’t become big and bulky. These stretches slim your calves if you have a lot of fat. And no you don’t become taller, at least I haven’t. You could grow taller but not likely.

    I did these stretches around twice a day, on the first day I did it 3 times. On the second day I went out for a two hour walk as well as doing the stretches twice.

    Your legs ache a little bit you get used to it, no pain no gain 😉

  18. Backstory: I did ballet for at least 5 years of my life which made my calves grow and now they’re one of my insecurities. I’m rather skinny, but my calves throw off the proportion of my body. I’m gonna do this for a month, once every day and try to get smaller calves!

  20. I know I'm late, but is it possible to slim down genetically bulky/large calves? Big calves run though my family and I really want to slim them down because they dont match my upper body. I'm slim and fairly toned in my upper body, but my calves are big

Girl, im so happy i found your channel ♥️ lately i've been more interested in how to lose weight and be healthier, one of my goals is to slim down my calves that are quite muscular… I've never liked them.     My calves are 14inches and the part above my ankles is 7.2 inches (this makes me so uncomfortable)

  29. I began doing this workout two nights ago, going to keep going everyday along with other target exercises (for other body parts) and hope for the best! I’ll post the results as I go.

    Day 1: Left calf: 38cm; Right calf: 38cm.
    Day 2: Left: 38cm; Right: 38cm.
    Ps: my calves are somewhat muscular but are fatty too, so I wonder if this workout will help burn the fat besides lengthening the muscles to really slim my calves down? Thanks!

  34. I really need to reduce my calves' which consist of fat and muscles due to walking with high hills for years.

  37. So I’ve been doing these stretches for almost a month and before I had started my calves used to touch and they were really bulky and muscular. Now my calves seem more slim and I would definitely recommend. It takes time to but you’ll love the results❤️

  45. I always get mocked at for having fat legs rather than slim legs like most girls in my school. I will be doing this exercise to get those long legs I could only dream of.

  46. Honestly, during these stretches I felt like my legs were dying but afterwards they felt so nice and relaxed! I never even knew my legs were so tensed up!
