RAW VEGAN BODYBUILDING




what's up we want John Venus here we've got a new video for you guys today join with Andrew aka holistic kid and he's going to be my coach for the day we are gonna give John his first raw vegan day ever full raw vegan day yeah I've never ever had a single day of my life fully raw I'm a little nervous but extremely excited too ok so we just got back from the gym I did one hour and 15 minutes of heavy weight lifting and now it is time for the first meal of the day so we're gonna make a high-protein raw smoothie but before I get to the rest of the ingredients we're going to start out by making a fresh nut milk using Brazil nuts and almonds which I soaked in water to get rid of the enzyme inhibitors and all the stuff that we don't want and now I am straining it in what's called a nut milk bag so now that we have the raw fresh nut milk in here we're gonna add some fresh Whole Foods some greens some berries and some raw protein so this protein powder slash meal replacement is by technicality raw it hasn't been heated over 118 degrees maca really good for your libido and just overall energy the moment of truth is here guys the nut milk is like a stronger flavor too and I really like it for me it's more about like how I feel even in smoothies like some protein powders coming down but having it all be like alive yes more about the energy for me okay guys I have to say the breakfast was a success we're off to a good start my stomach is rumbling it's time for the second meal of the day I'm just gonna prepare some awesome stuff right now we're gonna have two courses to this meal the first course is going to be raw vegan sushi so I have cauliflower rice which is pretty much grated cauliflower and we have untoasted seaweed nori then just gonna mix and match and make different roles using jackfruit papaya cucumber avocado and mushroom the second course is going to be the Mexican style tacos and we're going to use a lot of the same gradients but just use them differently each now we're going to move on to the raw vegan tacos and the base or the meat of the tacos are going to be mushroom and jackfruit and then we're going to put them in a lettuce leaf shell and I'm going to make guacamole using avocado and zucchini blended together then we're just going to put some lemon juice some cilantro and some onion and mix that up for our walk along with the guac we're going to have a tomato pineapple salsa which is super simple and super easy first time ever eating raw sushi I'm excited about this gonna put a little bit of wasabi let's do this so much better than I was expecting guys so much but it is missing soy sauce this is gonna be a sweet one right now even better you know this is doable this is doable I'm gonna try to tacko now holy that's really good man I'm super good taco what's better than sushi super good hmm so for dessert we're gonna have some raw vegan cinnamon buns and you might be wondering how the hell that's possible but just hold on and I'm going to show you we're going to start first with the filling so I got fresh dates not the dry dates but fresh dates and pitted them myself and I'm just going to take a whole bunch and put them in the blender with about 3/4 of an apple we'll also be adding about a teaspoon of vanilla extract and a dash of cinnamon and to help with the consistency and have this blend up I'm going to add a splash of the nut milk that we made from this morning so this is what the paste looks like it's a thick consistency and this is going to be the filling for our cinnamon buns so here's the really cool part the dough or bun or pastry part of the cinnamon bun is going to be dried bananas and you might be thinking what the hell are they doing in the oven that's not raw here's a trick if you do not have a dehydrator and you have a gas oven you can leave bananas or anything else you want to dry out in the oven while the ovens off and the little tiny burner light keeps it at this nice temperate and it actually works as a dehydrator so the bananas consistency is a little bit rubbery and actually very dough-like and easy to mold so the vegan cinnamon buns are officially rolled up and I'm going to just toss them in the freezer for a few minutes while I use these coconuts to use their meat to make the icing for the cinnamon buns so now that the cinnamon buns are pretty much good to go we're going to throw them in the freezer and while we're at the freezer we're going to take out some frozen bananas and make some banana ice cream cinnamon rolls are actually my favorite dessert ever but I'm really scared I'll be disappointed so we'll see right now oh whoa okay man seriously out mind bloom how you do this man it's magic raw veganism guys cinnamon rolls and ice cream all the way okay guys I'm feeling really a fool I thought that I was not gonna be full today but I am we're gonna do something completely new man what are we doing he's having his first durian today is a day of firsts durian you know just hearing the word just like you know upsets me a little bit oh this is why I've never tried it it looks like a sausage man kind of bring what is like a range it that it that's dairy king the cream eat it okay man up like this yeah is that enough eat it just eat it really focus on the taste the second bite should be better than the first I don't dislike it but I feel like for some reason I'm gonna puke don't puke so I'm really confused I don't know whether I like it or not but it's very very weird okay guys the day is over it was amazing my view on raw veganism or HA-HA-HA !!! That is not raw BRO ! That is some frozen and processed shit 🙂 RAW = POP FRUITS AND VEGIES AND NUTS AS THEY ARE AND LET THE STOMACH BLEND THEM. Also, much mote time and energy efficient, don't you think. This … is just typical human over complicating things based on "knowledge" and need for likes 🙂 Just enjoy your lucky life and health and dial down the advice please 🙂

great video but thats not the best way to build muscle of a raw vegan diet. forget the protein, you need amino acids that are found abundant
in fruits, you need more fruits and no protein powder, focus on carbs get them super high from fruits.

wayyy too many brazil nuts .. you're only supposed to eat 2 or 3 a day, otherwise you can get too much selenium which is bad

From start to finish that's at least a $100 dollar's worth of food at any Whole Foods location in the USA… Getting enough calories for an active 180lb male from this diet would bankrupt you in short order.. Also no one on an Animal based diet has to "Supplement" his nutritional needs with giant tubs of pharmaceutical grade powders.. Also this guy is "supplementing" with a hypodermic needle.

Even if I wasn’t a Vegan athlete. I would want this food now. I will buy the organic groceries and will make all. I’ll use the raw coconut aminos instead of soy sauce. Let me know who made these things and how it was.
